Our Events
Each year our events raise money for essential equipment and programming needs at Marshall Medical Centers. Each of our four annual signature events has an engaged following, a unique feel, and truly impacts thousands of patients and families in Marshall County and the surrounding areas.
Winter Ball
The Winter Ball is a premier fundraising gala focused on maintaining quality healthcare in Marshall County and celebrating those who make it possible. Held in January each year, it is the community’s only black tie benefit with an evening of dinner, dancing and high-end silent auction. It is also when the Marshall Medical Centers Healthcare Heroes are recognized. Through the Healthcare Hero award the Foundation seeks to salute excellence, raise awareness, enhance the quality of healthcare and, of course, recognize deserving individuals within the healthcare industry. Funds raised from the Winter Ball support the many patient centric programs of the Marshall Cancer Care Center. To request your invitation to the annual Winter Ball, please email info@foundationformmc.org.
Women’s Health Luncheon
The goal of the Women’s Health Luncheon is to create an annual forum to promote women’s health and support a higher level of care through education and awareness. It is a day for women planned by women to discover more about achieving optimal health. The event is held in the spring and features a delicious lunch, time for fellowship, a robust healthcare panel and special keynote speaker. Funds raised from the Women’s Health Luncheon support Labor and Delivery services at Marshall Medical Centers. To request your invitation to the Women’s Health Luncheon, email info@foundationformmc.org.
Pink Pumpkin Run
Each year the Foundation for Marshall Medical Centers is excited to present the Pink Pumpkin Run to benefit mammography and cancer services at Marshall Medical Centers. The race takes place in October starting and ending at the Guntersville Civitan Park and includes a 5K, 10K, 1 Mile Fun Run, early registration and packet pick up, music, children's activities and the popular Pink Pancake Brunch. You don't have to run, just participate for a good cause! For more information visit the Pink Pumpkin Run information page.
Sporting Clays Classic
Our newest and fastest growing event, the Sporting Clays Classic allows new and seasoned shooters to participate in a competition sporting clays event that includes a round of sporting clays, delicious food, gift bag, prizes for overall winners and door prizes. This signature event is always a “blast!” and allows participants and sponsors to build relationships, entertain clients, encourage camaraderie and support the philanthropic mission of Marshall Medical Centers.
